Abstract: It is difficult for children to take traditional Chinese medicine orally,in which the problem lies in the medicine is too bitter to swallow.Based on the classic theory of "treating diseases of pharynx and upper esophageal opening with sweet medicine",Professor Feng Xiaochun developed a new way to treat children′s throat diseases with sweet medicine.During treatment,sweet drugs account for the majority and bitter drugs are in a small number in each group of prescriptions,so that drugs with good therapeutic effect do not taste bitter.This clinical experience not only ensures the curative effect,but also solves the problem of medicine being too bitter to swallow.It is worth popularizing in clinical practice.
