Abstract:

The seizures of most patients with epilepsy can be controlled by drug treatment, there are still 20% to 30% of patients with poor response to antiepileptic drugs, and the seizures are difficult to control, which is called refractory epilepsy.After years of research and exploration Professor Ma Rong has found that abnormalities in immunization and nutrition may be the main cause and pathogenesis of recurrent seizures in children with refractory epilepsy. The treatment should be based on Guwei Huying. In addition, the child has congenital insufficiency, which lasts for a long time. The spleen and kidney are in insufficiency, and the deficiency and excess are mixed. The method of nourishing the kidney, resuscitating the body and resolving phlegm is use flexibly throughout the whole process.During frequent epileptic seizures at primary stage, Professor Ma used Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu decoction to regulate immunization and nutrition, and then use Dihuang Yinzi to consolidate the root at a later stage. Treatment based on syndrome differentiation can achieve good results.
