Both groups were given external washing with Chinese medicine, and in addition, the treatment group received nursing intervention. The treatment lasted for 14 days. Observe the skin lesion area, degree of pruritus, survey on family influence on dermatitis and the changes in diet and sleep in the two groups.ResultsThe total effective rate of treatment group was 98.33%(59/60), higher than that of control group (81.67%, 49/60), and the difference was of statistical significance(P<0.05). The scores in skin lesion area, degree of pruritus, sleep, appetite, irritation, abdominal distension and loose stool were statistically different between the two groups(P<0.05), and the improvement was significantly better in the treatment group than in the control group. The score in the family influence on dermatitis in the treatment group was (8.93±3.86), lower than that in the control group (20.52±3.74)(P<0.05).ConclusionThe treatment of external washing with Chinese medicine in combination with nursing intervention for infants with dampness-heat eczema can greatly relieve clinical symptoms, improve appetite and sleep and increase the life quality of parents and patients
