Abstract:

There has always been the academic argument between"Chun Yang" and "Zhi Yin Zhi Yang", and the treatment also differs between "being cooler" and "being warmer". Prof. Wang Sumei believes that the children are more likely to be cold or hot, deficient or excessive during their growth and development. Therefore, the two views of "Chun Yang" and "Zhi Yin Zhi Yan" are simply from different starting points, and the two has a differential relationship of unity of opposites. They both are of significance in guiding the differential treatment, and we should not put excessive emphasis on either of them,or separate them. Warm medicines shouldn't be avoided in clinical medication: they can be used to restrain kidney-yang, tonify spleen, reduce phlegm and awaken brain,or to benefit qi,reduce phlegm,Stop wind and prevent spasm, or to make the patients quiet and calm and cure Tourette's syndrome through regulating spleen and kidney.
