Abstract: ObjectiveTo explore the effect of elbow joint functional exercise based on game mode on the pain degree and elbow joint function of school-aged children with supracondylar fracture of the humerus.MethodsA total of 97 school-age children with supracondylar fracture of the humerus in our department were divided into groups by random number table method. Forty-eight patients in the control group were given elbow flexion and swing rehabilitation training, and 49 patients in the observation group were given elbow joint functional exercise based on game mode; the effects were compared.ResultsThe VAS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group after 1 week and one month of training. The fracture healing time was lower than that of the control group. The rate of good joint function, score in joint range of motion, and degree of elbow joint pronation and supination were higher than the control group. The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionThe elbow joint functional exercise based on game mode can effectively improve the range of motion of the elbow joint, reduce the pain degree, and increase the rate of good elbow joint function in school-age children with supracondylar humeral fractures.
