Abstract: The onset of tic disorders starts in childhood and adolescence, belonging to neuropsychiatric disorders. With the development of society and the increase of external stimulation, the cases of this disease also have a trend of increase year by year. The whole process of children′s development reflects the characteristics of the liver, and childrens constitution conforms to the characteristics of the liver:if liver qi is peaceful and liver blood is sufficient, children are in normal development;if liver yang is excessive, liver yin is deficient,or liver and kidney do not coordinate, liver wind moves inside, and the symptoms of tic disorders appear. In addition, the improper management of external stimuli results in liver qi stagnation, which also produces internal changes.Based on this, the physiological characteristics of the liver and childrens physical characteristics are taken into account to explore the relationship between the two as well as the connection between the liver and other viscera, and to analyze tic disorders from the perspective of the relationship between the liver and Shaoyang constitution. The following measures has a certain guidance in the treatment of initial and prolonged difficult tic disorder:taking the liver as the main point, regulating the five organs and combining the internal treatment with external treatment together.
