Abstract: We analyzed the pathogenic characters of anorexia,illustrated the theoretical basis of the method of aroma invigorating spleen in the treatment of anorexia.We believe that anorexia is caused by incoordination between the spleen and the stomach as well as dysfunction of spleen.Spleen likes being dry and dislikes being wet;spleen disease is often caused by pathogenic dampness,so the method of aroma invigorating spleen is used for appetizing,with the warm and clearing nature of aroma and rising and falling of middle-jiao.The spleen and the stomach are in harmony,turbid dampness removed,functional activity being smooth,and appetite is promoted.
