Abstract: Objective:To observe the effect of Jiawei Qingxin Lianzi decoction on nephrotic syndrome during hormone withdrawal. Methods:From March 2018 to March 2019, 70 children with simple nephrotic syndrome were treated the Second Outpatient Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and they were randomly divided into two groups. On the basis of conventional hormone therapy, 35 cases in the control group were treated with Huaiqihuang granules, and 35 cases in the experimental group were given Jiawei Qingxin Lianzi decoction, the course of treatment being 8 weeks. The TCM symptom scores, side effects and height growth were compared between the two groups before and after treatment, and the relapse after treatment was also compared. Results:There were 3 cases who were lost of follow-up in experimental group and 5 cases in the control group. After treatment, the TCM symptom score, recurrence rate and incidence of side effects in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05); the total effective rate in experimental group was 90.6%(29/32), which was higher than that in control group(60.0%, 18/30)(P<0.05); the increase in height of the children in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Jiawei Qingxin Lianzi decoction has a synergistic and detoxifying effect on hormone treatment for nephrotic syndrome, and reduces the recurrence rate and improves the prognosis of children.
