Abstract: Objective:To evaluate the effect of Qinlian Zhixie decoction in the clinical treatment of chronic diarrhea in children.
Methods:Totally 76 children with chronic diarrhea admitted to our hospital from March 2019 to January 2020 were randomly divided into two groups: the control group(38 cases) was treated with conventional western medicine, while the observation group(38 cases) was treated with Qinlian Zhixie decoction in addition to western medicine, and the inflammation control, immune function improvement and symptom improvement were observed.
Results:The levels of IL-6, IL-10 and TNF-α in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05) after treatment; after treatment, CD8+ in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, while IgA,IgG and CD4+,CD4+/CD8+ were higher than that in the control group(P<0.05);after treatment, the TCM symptom score and total score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, the difference being statistically significant(P<0.05). The total effective rates of the two groups were 94.74%(36/38) and 78.95%(30/38),respectively(P<0.05).
Conclusion:On the basis of conventional symptomatic treatment and western medicine treatment,Qinlian Zhixie decoction, when used to treat patients with chronic diarrhea, can effectively improve the effect of inflammation control, better regulate the immune function of children, and help to improve the overall treatment effect.
