Abstract: Objective:To explore the effect of pediatric massage as an adjuvant treatment on the prognosis of children withbronchopneumonia.
Methods:Select 40 children with bronchopneumonia who received pediatric massage in our hospital between November 2019 and January 2020 as the observation group.Another 40 children with pronchopneumonia who did not receive pediatric massage as adjuvant treatment in the same period were selected as the control group.Compare the differences between the two groups in terms of clinical efficacy, relief time of main symptoms and signs, length of clinical antibiotic use, and incidence of adverse reactions during the treatment cycle.
Results:The clinical cure rate and total effective rate of the observation group were 80.0%(32/40) and 95.0%(38/40) respectively ,significantly higher than those of the control group[52.5%(21/40)、77.5%(31/40)],and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The observation group had shorter than the control group in terms of body temperature returning to normal, cough relief, asthma relief and disappearance of lung rales, the difference being statistically significant(P<0.05).The number of children in the observation group who used clinical antibiotics for 5 days was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the number of cases who used for 7 days and above was significantly lower than that of the control group, the difference being statistically significant(P<0.05).The adverse reaction rate of children in the observation group was 5.0%(2/40),significantly lower than that of the control group(20.0%,8/40),the difference being statistically significant(P<0.05).
Conclusion:Adjuvant massage for children with bronchial pneumonia can effectively improve the clinical therapeutic effect, shorten the use time of clinical antibiotics and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions.
