Abstract: Allergen detection is an important method in the diagnosis and evaluation of allergic diseases.Classical detection methods such as skin tests and IgE in vitro tests are developing in the direction of more allergens,less blood samples and higher accuracy;meanwhile，the new detection like cellular and molecular diagnosis are developing rapidly.In order to provide better clinical decision making for clinicians who are facing complicated detection methods,this article reviews the common allergen detection methods in vivo and in vitro,introduces their indications,advantages and disadvantages as well as their clinical application in various types of allergic diseases and different groups of people.
