Abstract: Objective:To compare the natures of Five-Yun-Liu-Qi of the birth dates of children with focal segmental glomerulosclerosis(FSGS) with those of children with minimal change disease(MCD), and to explore the internal relationship and differences between the natural endowment and pathological types under the influence of Five-Yun-Six-Qi, so as to provide theoretical reference for clinical judgment of prognosis and prediction of pathological types.Methods:A total of 54 patients with focal segmental glomerulosclerosis(n=18,FSGS group) or minimal change disease(n=36,MCD group) were selected from the pediatric inpatients, who were confirmed by renal puncture in Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from 2005 to 2019. The complete information of birth date of the patients was collected, and the natures of Five-Yun-Six-Qi were analyzed and compared between the two groups.Results:There were significant differences between the two groups in the distribution of the Fire-Yun of Sui-Yun and the Water-Yun of Ke-Yun between the two groups(P<0.05).In the comparison of the Fire-Yun of Sui-Yun, the FSGS group tended to be in deficiency of Fire-Yun, while the MCD group tended to be in excess of Fire-Yun. As for Ke-Yun, FSGS group tended to be excessive in Water-Yun, while MCD group tended to have deficiency in Water-Yun.Conclusion:FSGS should be considered if there is deficiency in Fire-Yun and excess in Water-Yun, which also suggests that the prognosis may be poor.
