Application progress on nasojejunal intubation in children with severe acute pancreatitis

Abstract: In recent years, the incidence of severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) in children has gradually increased. Early enteral nutrition has been used as the main method in the treatment of children with SAP. Enteral nutrition via nasojejunal tubes can reduce pancreatic secretion, decrease complications, improve prognosis, and shorten hospital stay. This article collects and analyzes the latest research updates on various aspects such as physiological response changes during the process of pediatric nasojejunal tube placement, optimal implementation timing, indications and contraindications, and potential side effects. The aim is to provide effective academic references and practical guidance for professionals engaged in pediatric nursing during the implementation of nasojejunal intubation.
