Abstract: The occurrence of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) involves multiple organ dysfunction.Professor Xu Rongqian′s "Theory of Shen,Hun,Yi,Po,Zhi" can explain various core clinical manifestations of ASD.Through in-depth analysis of the functions of Shen,Hun,Yi,Po,Zhi,it has been discovered that the occurrence of this disease is closely related to the "Five Organs Shen",especially to the heart-Shen,liver-Hun,spleen-Yi,and kidney-Zhi.The theoretical system of "treatment for both Xing and Shen" is used in clinical practice to guide the treatment of ASD,which achieves good therapeutic effects by benefiting Xing and qi.
