Abstract: The clinical incidence of adenoid hypertrophy in children is increasing year by year.At present, surgery is the first choice in clinical treatment, but the disease is likely to recur after surgery, and the patients often have adenoid facial expression and secretory otitis media;in severe cases,it may cause complications such as obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome, which may seriously affect the children′s growth, physical and mental health, and the quality of their lives in the long run.Professor Ye Weicheng applies Xus pediatric theory of strengthening the spleen and resolving phlegm and masses to the treatment of adenoid hypertrophy, and uses Erchen decoction to strengthen the spleen and resolve phlegm;in addition,Xia Ku Cao is used for resolving masses;the treatment has achieved great clinical effects.
