Abstract: Childhood anorexia is a common disease with frequent onset.Professor Ju Wei believes that childhood anorexia is mainly due to the middle jiao stagnation of diet,excessive intake of cold drugs,and the inactivation of liver and spleen.Practically the cause of the disease is still the spleen dysfunction.Based on careful study of the pathogenesis,the treatment should focus on promoting digestion,clearing heat,soothing liver,and activating blood circulation.For the children with stagnation,Xihuang powder combined with Sanxian decoction should be used.For those with food stagnation and depression,Baohe pills combined with Zengye decoction should be used.For the chronic cases with congestion,Yigong powder combined with Siwu decoction can be used.For the children with liver depression,Sini powder is used.In the course of medication,the guidance of living habits is effective.
