Abstract: Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Insure technique in the treatment of neonatal respiratory distress syndrome(NRDS). Methods:From January 2010 to December 2011,36 children with NRDS who were treated in Neonatal Department of Fuyong People′s Hospital of Baoan District were included as control group, and 42 cases of NRDS who were treated from January 2012 to December 2013 were included as the observation group. The control group was given continuous invasive positive pressure ventilation in the treatment after administration of pulmonary surfactant;the observation group was treated with Insure technology for salvage therapy.Observe the blood gas changes of two groups before and after treatment, the incidence of related complications, time of use of breathing machine and chest X-ray improvement. Results:At 5 h and 10 h after treatment,PaO2 increased significantly than before in both groups, while PaCO2 was significantly reduced(P<005).Before treatment and 5 h and 10 h after treatment,PaO2 and PaCO2 had no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P>005).In observation group incidence rate of air leak and ventilator-associated pneumonia was 238%(1/42)and 952%(4/42),which was lower than control group[1667%(6/36),2778%(10/36)]respectively,the difference being not statistically significant(P>005).In the observation group, the length of ventilation on the machine was(329±108)d,significantly shorter than the control group(545±089)d,the difference being statistically significant(P<005).The improvement rate of 12 h lung field transparency in the observation group was 905%(38/42),while in the control group it was 917%(33/36),the difference being not statistically significant(P>005). Conclusion:Insure technique is used to treat NRDS with satisfactory curative effect, which can reduce the duration of ventilator use and the occurrence of related complications.
