children with tic disorder.MethodsThe database of effective cases of tic
disorder treated by Chinese medicine was established, and the data were analyzed
by frequency distribution, cluster analysis and association rules.ResultsProfessor
Ma Rong identified the top 5 TCM syndrome types of tic disorder in children as
hyperactivity of liver and wind, external wind, spleen deficiency and phlegm
accumulation, spleen deficiency and liver hyperactivity,qi depression turning into
fire. The frequency of drugs and the primary and secondary drug combinations of

obtained.ConclusionThe core components for live and wind hyperactivity syndrome
were Gastrodia,Unguia,cassia,scorpion,chrysanthemum,keel and oyster.The core
components for exogenous wind induced syndrome were

peel,licorice,Chuanxiong,gastrodia,scorpion,Chloriti lapis,Lapis chloriti
lapis,Radix nochiae and codonopsis. The core ingredients for spleen deficiency
and liver hyperactivity syndrome were
bupleurum,keel,oyster,licorice,scutellaria,codonopsis,pinellia,magnet,paeony,rigid
